News and Updates

Congratulations to our NIH K99/R00 Pathway to Independence Award Recipients: Drs. Gulli, Insel, and Pulupa!

Our newest ZI "kangaroos" (K-R00s) are Drs. Roberto Gulli (Salzman Lab), Katie Insel (Shohamy Lab), and Joan Pulupa (Lomvardas Lab). Each of these postdocs will receive funding from the NIH for the remaining 1-2 years of their postdoctoral studies and for the first 3 years in an independent faculty position. Drs. Insel and Pulupa are our first recipients of the MOSAIC K99/R00, which is designed to facilitate the transition of promising postdoctoral researchers from diverse backgrounds into independent, tenure-track, research-intensive faculty positions.

Congratulations to Drs. Eddy Albarran and Isabel Low on their Simons Junior Fellowships!

Dr. Eddy Albarran (Costa and Peterka Labs) and Dr. Isabel Low (Aronov Lab) received the prestigious Simons Society of Fellows Junior Fellow Award.

Congratulations to Dr. Diaz Salazar Albelda on his Charles H. Revson Senior Fellowship in Biomedical Science!

Dr. Carlos Diaz Salazar Albelda (Polleux Lab) received the competitive Revson Senior Fellowship for his proposal to investigate the "Role of SRGAP2 in the regulation of synaptic connectivity by microglia."
